Cardif is a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Assurance, the insurance arm of BNP Paribas. It develops and markets savings and protection products and services via multiple partners.
A diversified partnership model
Cardif is a bancassurance specialist. It works with 35 of the world's top 100 banks, numerous financial institutions, which include credit companies, credit arms of car makers and major retail groups.
It has created joint ventures with major players, including the State Bank of India - India's largest bank, Magazine Luiza - one of Brazil's biggest retail chains, Shinhan Financial Group - Korea's No.2 bank, and in 2008, expanded its portfolio with Vietcom Bank - the leading state bank in Vietnam - and SeAbank, and Taiwan Cooperative Bank - the No.2 bank in Taiwan.

- Banks, financial institutions and retailers.
- BNP Paribas Retail banking (in France, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Ukraine and Luxembourg).
- Alternative channels: networks of independant financial advisors, brokers or Internet.
